Seldox Appoints Christine Meidinger as CEO

Meidinger joins the company to lead Seldox through global commercialization across multiple industries.

Seldox, a biotechnology company specializing in the prevention of biofilm formation using molecular additives of redox-active selenium and offering solutions to multiple industries, has named Christine Meidinger as the new chief executive officer. 
 
“This is an important time for Seldox as the company prepares to fully launch into several markets and bring a new and safe antimicrobial solution to key markets,” stated Mario de la Guardia, chairperson of Seldox. “Christine’s many areas of expertise and knowledge will be critical to the organization as we start this exciting phase. Her success as a leader across key strategic areas, along with her long-standing professional relationships and approach to finding solutions, make her the right person for Seldox and we are fortunate to have her leading the team.”
 
Meidinger has a record as an executive and leader, bringing over 20 years of industry-specific
experience to the Seldox team. She has led high-performing teams at start-ups and mid-sized companies. Most recently, Meidinger served as the chief operations officer at VitalPath, a private company that finds complex solutions for medical device partners. 
 
During her career, she has successfully launched global operations, implemented sales operations, revised new product introduction plans through value mapping and owned profit/loss of $100M.
 
Seldox’s technology is non-toxic, non-leaching, and effective in extremely low concentrations with microbial inhibition rates up to 99.999999%. Seldox is ideal for integration into products where the prevention of microbes and biofilm results in better performance and safer outcomes.
 
Seldox’s technology has a strong history of research and development, with data generated across multiple microbes and environments. The technology has antimicrobial applications in several industries, including healthcare, dentistry, water treatment, industrial coatings, and oil and gas.
